Hello, all!

Yes, I’ve started a blog. Yes, I promise to do a better job updating this one than I did Have Mars Suit. (I might even manage a new post or two there as well, now that I’m working to make writing a disciplined habit again).

The “About” page has a decent introduction. But, basically, expect posts that fall into one or more of the following categories:

• Music stuff. (I won’t be able to help it).
• Thoughts and links concerning charity evaluation. (Epecially of the GiveWell variety).
• Links to science fiction stories. (Particularly those I think are worthy of trying to bridge to a general audience).
• Links to poetry.
• Links to various other fascinating articles I run into while wasting time online. (And associated commentary).
• Adventures in the Taubman approach. (First adventure: spellcheck wishes to change the word to “Taliban.”)
• Adventures in communitarianism.
• Adventures in classical stoicism.

If I don’t post SOME sort of actual content within the week, yell at me.
